All the same R5 fun, styling, proportions enhanced by a contemporary design: more rugged wheel arches, streamlined roof profile, boxier bodywork and more. The smile on the front end is still there. A nice little detail!

design details

Iconic details get enhanced: bonnet air intake morphed into a charging flap, discrete LEDs power the logo and lighting signature, flush-fit rear lights inspired by aeronautics, and so much more. The soft-top roof highlights a determination to use innovative materials.

a revamped version for Roland-Garros

R5 Prototype is finished in a satin white metallic colour and is a preview of a special Roland-Garros series of the future Renault 5 electric.

design details for the French open version

The car incorporates visual tributes to the Roland-Garros stadium, such as the croix de saint André featured on the lateral grilles. A backlit Roland-Garros logo takes pride of place where iconic 5 was located. The window contours are adorned with chrome satin and the rims in anodized blue.
